The full story

A cross-industry background

My professional background wasn't built in a single industry. It developed across media, business operations, customer service, and financial administration, with each role giving me a deeper understanding of how businesses operate and where they commonly struggle.

Media & communication

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Communication & Media Studies, where I studied public relations, data analysis, and journalism. Early in my career, I worked in a newsroom environment, developing strong research, information gathering, and communication skills.

Business analysis in the travel industry

I later spent more than three years working as a Business Analyst within the travel industry. My responsibilities included customer order management, visa processing coordination, travel booking systems, account management, billing administration, vendor reconciliation, and compliance documentation. Working in a fast-paced service environment taught me the importance of accuracy, organisation, and maintaining reliable records while balancing multiple priorities at once.

International business education

To strengthen my business knowledge, I completed a Graduate Diploma in International Business at Seneca Polytechnic, graduating with a 3.6 GPA. The programme provided a broader understanding of business operations, finance, international markets, and organisational strategy.

Operational & financial oversight

Following that, I spent two years as a Retail Tasting Supervisor in the experiential marketing industry. In that role, I managed fee-for-service invoicing, reviewed payment approvals, analysed operational data, and supported programmes involving more than 600 brand ambassadors. It reinforced how critical accurate financial records, clear processes, and strong administrative controls are to the success of any organisation.

Why Travel Bunny exists

Across each of these roles, I noticed a common challenge. Many small businesses are run by talented owners who excel at delivering their products and services but often lack the time, systems, or resources needed to stay on top of bookkeeping and financial administration. As a result, important information becomes scattered across spreadsheets, emails, and disconnected processes.

Travel Bunny was created to help solve that problem. I work with small businesses to establish organised bookkeeping processes, maintain accurate financial records, and create systems that make day-to-day operations easier to manage. My focus is on helping business owners spend less time dealing with administrative complexity and more time growing their businesses.

Today & what's next

Today, I continue to build on my experience through professional development, bookkeeping training, and CPA prerequisite studies as I work toward a future career in accounting. Every engagement is an opportunity to apply practical financial skills, improve systems, and deliver measurable value to clients.

I believe good bookkeeping is not just about compliance. It's about providing clarity, creating structure, and helping businesses make better decisions with confidence.
